The George Floyd affair: The family of the black man killed by a police officer today (Wednesday) filed a civil lawsuit against the Minneapolis municipality and called the incident a "public health crisis" in black America.

Floyd, was killed on May 25 after being pinned to the sidewalk by Officer Derek Chubin for nearly 9 minutes. The police officer charged with the act was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
