During the resumption of training on June 18, Nicolas Gigot had been the victim of hyperthermia during a collective jogging, before his condition worsened sharply. At the beginning of July, the pillar had to be amputated of the two legs for "question of survival", explained the doctors. But this Saturday morning, the club of Ain announces "the disappearance of the young hope player of 19 years, Nicolas Gigot (...) Nicolas will have marked the club by his good communicative humor, his abnegation on the ground and his will to progress. His recent fight will have been like him, full of courage and envy, "said the club in its press release.
