A man was shot dead early Monday in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines), AFP learned from a police source. This 31-year-old man, known to the police, was discovered injured, on the public highway, by the police around 3:45 a.m., said this source.

Supported by the emergency services, he died an hour later. The circumstances of the shooting are not yet known and no arrest has yet taken place. The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police of Versailles.
