At the moment, a special press conference is being held at the Ministry of Health by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Health Minister Yoel (July) Edelstein regarding the spread of the corona in Israel.

After Prof. Gabi Barbash waived the appointment, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Health Minister Yuli Edelstein decided tonight (Thursday) that the director of the Ichilov Hospital, Prof. Roni Gamzo, will be appointed to the position of National Corona Projector and Director of the Dashboard.

Meanwhile, according to an update of data from the Ministry of Health published tonight, the number of patients hospitalized in the various hospitals has passed the 300 mark and now stands at 302. Since midnight, about 1,022 Israelis have been infected in Corona, and about 28,711 tests have been performed to detect the virus. The report also showed that the percentage of positive tests is 6.4%.
