Thousands of 'bots' from different Internet communities have attacked Barcelona and its board of directors, chaired by Josep Maria Bartomeu , in recent months, according to a report by consultancy Deloitte. Rained on wet for the Catalan club has Lionel Messi as a banner and he is trying to recover from the shock that it meant to have lost the LaLiga in the hands of Real Madrid.

The study, unveiled by the newspaper El Mundo , explains that these 'bots' (computer programs that repeatedly perform tasks on the Internet) were programmed to damage "the reputation of the club and its managers . "

Deloitte would have detected a total of 3,281 potential 'bots', which would have generated 19,359 mentions and 23,200 negative impacts on the practically 300,000 mentions analyzed.

This, according to the report, caused 12.5% of comments on social networks on different matters related to the club to come from "non-human users" .

The main Internet communities that emitted this type of message were related to the Catalan fans themselves, Catalan independence and national and international Real Madrid fans.

The theme most addressed in these messages was criticism of the club's managers, followed by the 'Barçagate' case , the possible return of Neymar and the elimination of Barça in the Champions League at the hands of Liverpool last season.

According to the EFE agency, the club put Deloitte's report in the hands of justice on July 17 with the intention of identifying the perpetrators of these attacks.
