Following several dog poisoning cases in Pokfulam, Sai Kung also suspected a "dog killer". At 10 o'clock in the morning yesterday (24th), a man surnamed Leung (63 years old) was letting his dogs out in Qing Keng Shek area, and his two pet dogs suddenly vomited. As there has been widespread rumours of people placing poisonous food in the area, he suspects that If the bait is related, call the police immediately. The police then seized the relevant food for investigation. After the incident, the SPCA sent staff to post warning signs and distribute leaflets around the above site. They also stated on the Facebook page that there were dogs that had died as a result, reminding the public that they must leash and pay attention to the surrounding environment when releasing dogs. Dogs wear masks to prevent poison bait from being swallowed by mistake. If you find suspected bait, you can call the hotline 2711 1000 of the Inspectorate Department of the Association.
