Corona virus continues to spread: According to data from the University of John Hopkins in the United States, tonight (Sunday) the number of global infections crossed the 16 million mark and now stands at 16,046,986 people.

It also shows that over 644,000 people died as a result of the virus or its complications. In terms of division into countries, the United States ranks first with the highest number of infections and deaths, in parallel with a significant increase in the number of infections per day that has passed the 70,000 mark in the last four days.
It is followed by Brazil, India, Russia, South Africa, Mexico, Peru, Chile, the United Kingdom, Iran, Pakistan, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Italy.
The United States also continues to lead the list of countries with the largest amount of losses. Divided into places with the highest number of infected are Sao Paulo in Brazil with 479,481 verified cases, the state of California with 446,452 states Florida, New York, Texas, Maharashtra in India, England and the metropolitan city of Chile and Moscow in Russia.
The number of recoverers worldwide stands at more than 9 million people. At the top of the list is Brazil with 1.7 million, followed by the United States with 1.2 million, India with 885 thousand, Russia with 596 thousand recovering Chile and Mexico. The data in China, where the virus broke out, stand at 86,381 infected, 80,410 recovering and 4,652 dead.
