The concern is twofold. Or just one, but with two intersecting paths. A new national survey , by a consulting firm that measures for the Kirchnerism in Buenos Aires, alerted a sector of the ruling party. On the one hand, she confirmed the drop in the numbers of Alberto Fernández and, on the other, she showed in a more favorable position the main opposition leader, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta. As Clarín announced on Monday , there is a debate within the Everyone's Front about how the President should treat the head of Government. Basically, some K leaders ask him to stop calling him "friend" and to remember his role near Mauricio Macri in the four years of Cambiemos en la Rosada.
The study is from Analogías , a firm historically linked to Kirchnerism: it was the official consultant for Cristina Kirchner for the 2017 elections in the Province and today it is still close to that space. Its last survey, between July 24 and 25, included 2,902 cases across the country, with a margin of error of +/- 2%.
Already in the introduction, within a broad 56-page report, the pollster warns about the Larreta phenomenon : "Strikingly, 69% of those surveyed considered that the relationship between President Alberto Fernández and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta is' Very good or good ', while only 62.3% thought so of the Fernández – Kicillof relationship. From the beginning, Analogías also confirms the drop in the President's numbers and joins the trend revealed by all the consultancies. "What evaluation do you do so far of the government of Alberto Fernández?" , the questions start. 55.9% approve and 28.8% disapprove.
Then, it specifically gets into the image of the president: there the positive weight (which includes "very good", "good" and "fair good") reaches 78%. Although the figure is higher than in other studies, it is clearly falling : in March it had touched a peak of 93.8%. As specified in the work, the approval to the Government and the President "continues to be supported by the respondents with a lower level of education and falls as the level of education of the respondents increases.

Also down are the numbers that evaluate the measures being taken by Alberto Fernández to combat the pandemic. In this case, after a ceiling of 94.7% in March, it went to 68.8% in July: almost 26 points less in just four months.
Regarding the relations of the President with the two officials whom he sits next to him in each extension of the quarantine due to the coronavirus, these are the main data:
- The Alberto-Kicillof relationship : 62.3% see it "positive" (26.9% "very good" and 35.4% "good") and 17.2% "negative" (13.5% " bad "and 3.7%" very bad "). Complete just over 20% of "don't know / don't answer".
The opposition candidate

- The Alberto-Larreta relationship : 69% see it as "positive" (14.6% "very good" and 54.4% "good") and 12% "negative" (9.9% "bad" and 2 , 1% "very bad"). Complete just over 19% of "don't know / don't answer".
Concern about the figure of the head of the Buenos Aires Government is also reflected in an electoral question . Although with relatively low percentages still, it is who would best emerge as an opposition option for 2023.
- "Even if there is still a long time to go, who do you think has the best chance of being the candidate for president of the opposition in 2023?" Analogies asked. And they were located as follows: 1) Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, 27.3%. 2) María Eugenia Vidal, 15.4%. 3) Martín Lousteau, 9.3%. 4) Mauricio Macri, 6%. Don't know, 41.9%.
