The Knesset Plenum approved the bill under which one-time grants will be distributed to citizens • How much will single people over the age of 18 and families with children receive? The complete guide

After many incarnations and various controversies, the government's grant program was approved today (Wednesday) in the Knesset. The bill stipulates the distribution of one-time grants to Israeli citizens, with the aim of encouraging consumption and employment and driving the wheels of the Israeli economy.

The Grants Law was passed in the Knesset on second and third reading // Knesset Channel

The proposal stipulates that a one-time grant of NIS 500 will be paid for a child, up to the fourth child in the family, for the fifth child - and onwards the grant will be NIS 300 per child. For a resident of Israel over the age of 18 or a married boy or girl, a one-time grant in the amount of NIS 750 will be paid.

In addition, the law stipulates that an additional NIS 750 will be granted to the grant, to populations of recipients of various benefits and pensions who subscribe to the offer. It is also proposed to deny entitlement to a grant and supplement to the grant, except for a grant for a child, from an individual who owes additional tax at a rate of 3% on his taxable income under section 121B of the Income Tax Ordinance in 2018 and from an individual who did not submit the 2018 report.
