The President of the Nation, Alberto Fernández, presented the bill for judicial reform at the Casa Rosada. The president gave details of the initiative that proposes the modification of the structure of the federal jurisdiction.

- "Create the General Criminal Justice with seat in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, through the consolidation of the Criminal and Federal Correctional and Economic Criminal Courts"

- "In order for the new Federal Criminal Court to start operating as soon as possible, a system of subrogations with maximum transparency has been envisaged in the temporary appointment of magistrates, in which the Chamber of Cassation in Criminal and Correctional matters, the Council of the Magistracy and the Senate of the Nation ".

- "The unification and creation of oral courts, public prosecutors' offices and ombudsmen has been planned to join the new scheme that we have designed and give it the best performance."

- "The contests that the Council of the Magistracy carries out to select the candidates to assume the new federal courts will have to be carried out by oral and public opposition test and the entire procedure will be registered in support of image and sound, and will be publicly disseminated "

- "The competence to investigate and prosecute all non-federal crimes committed in its territory is transferred to the City of Buenos Aires."
