The names pass but the suspicions remain. For years, FIFA has become a fertile arena for spurious business. Some of them made it to the Netflix screen, several protagonists are deprived of their freedom, but the grime continues to emerge from under the carpet.

In the last hours the current president of the highest entity in world football Gianni Infantino was criminally prosecuted and now he took advantage of his predecessor Joseph Blatter to go out and attack him.

"For me, the situation is clear: the FIFA ethics committee must open proceedings against Mr. Infantino and, therefore, suspend him," said the former Pope, who chaired the International Federation between 1998 and 2015, but today is suspended and disabled for committing irregularities.

Infantino, president of the highest soccer body, was prosecuted by Swiss justice for alleged secret meetings with Michael Lauber, Attorney General of the European country, who has already announced that he will leave his post at the end of August. They both denied the meetings and an investigation is now open.

Gianni Infantino was criminally denounced.

In this scenario, Blatter, who is suspended after being processed in 2015, in Switzerland, for an investigation that is still ongoing, went to the crossing and asked that Infantino suffer the same fate.

Blatter became involved in the famous "Operation Darwing", which became popular as FIFAgate, a corruption scandal in the world of soccer, where other leaders fell, such as several South Americans.

It is not the first time that the Swiss has shot the Italian-Swiss with everything. Last year, Joseph said: "Gianni, whom I met as UEFA's secretary general, was one of those who slowed down the implementation of the reform package decided at the 2011 congress. We had also decided then to monitor the integrity of the members. Who was the first to speak? Infantino, who said: "We are in favor of integrity control but not in our house (UEFA). We will never accept that a FIFA committee controls the integrity of our members".

Joseph Blatter was one of the leaders who had to leave FIFA as a result of FIFAGate

Infantino comes with a few days of blow after blow. To the criminal process and these statements of Blatter, the sticks of Diego Maradona are added, no less, who resigned his position in FIFA. "I spoke to Infantino about one thing and he was disappointed. I see that they give Macri an award. An award for what? A kick in the ass must be given. And Platini returned and Blatter returned ... The waters calmed down, They distributed the money among themselves and nobody returned anything. So I quit FIFA, "said Diez.
