(CNN Spanish) - Former Pemex director Emilio Lozoya was released this Saturday from the Ángeles del Pedregal hospital in Mexico City, where he had been admitted 15 days ago due to anemia and esophageal problems, his lawyer, Miguel Ontiveros, confirmed to CNN .
Lozoya, who was extradited from Spain on July 17, is accused of money laundering and bribes in the Odebrecht case, although the former chief has denied all charges.

During the first hearing of the trial held on Wednesday, the judge in the Odebrecht case granted Lozoya precautionary measures to take his process free, but he must wear an electronic bracelet and sign every 15 days in the North Reclusorio in Mexico City.
