Kwai Tsing Assistant Commander (Criminal) Superintendent Lam Chi-yuen said that at about 11pm on May 25 this year, two men used their batons to break the front glass of the Leung Chik Wai Memorial Middle School, Lok Sin Tong, Cheung Hong Village, Tsing Yi. Escape immediately after success.
At about 1:00 a.m. on July 24, two more men threw incendiary bombs and gas-oil bombs at the middle school. They placed the white electric oil at the main entrance, and then threw the fire to the main entrance from a distance. About a month later, the police arrested a total of three local men, aged between 16 and 23, for arson, criminal damage and possession of offensive weapons. It is understood that two of the arrested men are attending Leong Chik Wai Memorial Secondary School of Lok Sin Tong, Cheung Hong Village, Tsing Yi, and the other 23-year-old male suspect is a graduate of that school.
According to police investigations, the three arrested men were motivated by the torture of their alma mater. Some radicals hope that the school will respond to the strike and echo the "three strikes" action by the Fang Fang earlier. Lin Zhiyuan said that the police indicated that the three arrested men had destroyed school facilities and prevented students from returning to school.
The incident occurred on July 24 this year at Leshan Chik Wai Memorial Middle School, Lok Sin Tong, Changkang Village, Tsing Yi. Flammable objects were thrown at the main entrance of the school. There was an explosion and fire at the scene, and the wall was severely blackened. Police later seized white electric oil cans, beer bottles and small LPG tanks at the scene.
