Germany on Wednesday 5 August classified the Belgian province of Antwerp, particularly affected by Covid-19, as a risk zone, implying a mandatory quarantine for all travelers who come from there, unless they present a negative test.

In Belgium, “ the number of new cases and deaths has been on the rise again since the end of July, in particular in the province of Antwerp (...), which is why the Robert Koch Sanitary Institute declared this area to risk ", explains the ministry on its site, specifying that it" results from it a mandatory quarantine in Germany, which can be avoided by a negative test for Covid-19 ".
