Drivers of two vehicles in Shek Kip Mei were arrested for allegedly blocking the road

At about 3 pm today (9th), a private car was driving along Wo Tsai Street in Shek Kip Mei towards Pak Tin Street. During the period, it was about to turn into Wai Chi Street, but found another light goods vehicle parked in the middle of the road. The drivers of both parties were suspicious. Due to a dispute over the obstruction of the road, the light goods vehicle even retreated and crashed into a private car. The drivers of the two vehicles got out of the car and quarreled, and then used force. Someone called the police for help. The police arrived at the scene for investigation. A 44-year-old male private car driver surnamed Liu was arrested on suspicion of ordinary assault. He had bruises on his face, chest, and hands, and felt low back pain; while a 21-year-old male light cargo driver surnamed Peng was suspected of causing bodily harm in the assault ( AOABH) and arrested for criminal damage. He felt pain in his hands and neck. The two were sent to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment.
