After 150 days, the River team will return to the Ezeiza campus this Monday to train. Yes, what was not news before the pandemic, since it was common, is now a novelty. From 8.30, each player and each member of the coaching staff will enter through the main gate to resume face-to-face practices. And there will be three shifts , so that they do not overlap in number, taking into account the protocol established by the AFA and approved by the Ministry of Health of the Nation.

Players will find changes in Ezeiza: individualized parking, signage to promote distancing and different training in groups of six, each by a member of the coaching staff. The players will arrive with training clothes and at the end of the practice they will return to their homes without changing.  In two weeks they may be concentrating on the Holiday Inn in Ezeiza. It is something that is being evaluated.

As on Friday, when the coaching staff and the players went to the Rossi clinic in San Isidro (except Paulo Díaz, Rafael Borré, Jorge Carrascal, Juan Fernando Quintero and Robert Rojas, who were tested at home, since they were not it had been two weeks since they returned from abroad), there will be tests again . Of the two types: the PCR analyzes, which were paid for by the club's treasury (to the public it is at a rate of 7,000 pesos each swab) to comply with the requirements of Conmebol and also the rapid tests

Not all the players will be there. There will be absences. That of Ezequiel Centurión, the youth archer who tested positive (asymptomatic) to the PCR test . That of Matías Suárez, who although he swabbed and tested negative, still cannot leave his home in the Cañuelas Golf neighborhood of the city of Córdoba, given that there was an outbreak of 21 cases last week and the Emergency Operations Center ordered a sanitary cordon. And those of Quintero and Rojas, who still must comply with a strict quarantine during this week, since both returned later from Colombia and Paraguay, respectively. Meanwhile, Borré, Carrascal and Díaz have already completed the 14 days and will be able to attend.

To the First team, which no longer has Ignacio Scocco - he went to Newell's - and does not have outside reinforcements, some youth from the Reserve will be added. They are goalkeeper Franco Petroli, defenders Elías López, Augusto Aguirre and Franco Paredes, and forwards Lucas Beltrán and Federico Girotti.

Those who were exempted from attending are some Gallardo collaborators: Marcelo Tulbovitz (PF), Jorge Bombicino (kinesiologist), Tato Montes ( goalkeeper coach), Raúl Quiroga, Ariel Scarpelli and Manuel Tula (props). They are over 60 years of age or fall within the group with risk factors.

In this way, River must modify its work structure until there is security at the sanitary level so that the preserved workers rejoin. That is why there will be a new group of props, for example. And another goalkeeper coach: Adrián Olivieri, from the Reserve.

In short, there will be 29 soccer players in Ezeiza: Franco Armani, Germán Lux, Enrique Bologna, Franco Petroli (goalkeepers); Gonzalo Montiel, Lucas Martínez Quarta, Elías López, Javier Pinola, Augusto Aguirre, Milton Casco, Fabrizio Angileri, Paulo Díaz, Robert Rojas, Franco Paredes (defenders); Enzo Pérez, Leonardo Ponzio, Bruno Zuculini, Santiago Sosa, Nicolás De La Cruz, Ignacio Fernández, Cristian Ferreira, Jorge Carrascal, Juan Fernando Quintero (flyers); Rafael Borré, Julián Álvarez, Lucas Pratto, Benjamín Rollheiser, Lucas Beltrán and Federico Girotti (forwards).
