The National Bureau for Land Defense and Settlement Resistance of the Palestine Liberation Organization stated in its weekly report that the occupation continues to violate international law and expand settlement operations in the West Bank, especially in occupied Jerusalem, with the support of the American administration in the context of implementing its colonial plans to annex parts of the West Bank.

The office indicated that the occupation announced a plan to establish a thousand settlement units on the lands of the villages of Al-Tur, Anata, Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis in occupied Jerusalem, which threatens to completely isolate occupied East Jerusalem from the rest of the West Bank, as well as seize large areas of land in the Jordan Valley, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron and Nablus to expand settlements and displace Palestinians From his lands.

The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Walid Assaf, explained in a statement to SANA's correspondent that what is happening in the villages of Al Farisiyah, Farasin and Al Mughayer of daily land seizures, expansion of settlements and building settlement roads, is a practical application of the annexation plan, pointing out that the occupation plans to completely displace the people of the ancient village of Farasin through the demolition of 36 A house in it, in addition to the demolition of agricultural facilities, calling on the international community to take urgent action to stop the ethnic cleansing and displacement carried out by the occupation against the Palestinians.

And about what is happening in the village of Farasin, located southwest of the city of Jenin, the head of the village council, Mahmoud Amarneh, says that Farasin is threatened with complete removal by the occupation, which wants to repeat the scenario of Khan al-Ahmar, east of occupied Jerusalem, by seizing the village, which includes historical and archaeological buildings that bear witness to the history and civilization of the Palestinian people.

Amarna stressed that the occupation targets Farasin by settlement because it is a link between the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm, so it has established a new settlement outpost on it, warning that the occupation will displace dozens of families during the coming days after the demolition of their homes and facilities, but he stressed at the same time that the people of the village will stand up to all the occupation attempts to uproot them from their land.

The expert in the field of settlement, Aref Daraghmeh, indicated that the village of Al-Farisiyah, which is located in the Jordan Valley, is also subjected to a settlement war due to its important geographical location, as it connects the north of the Jordan Valley to the West Bank and is considered the gate of the Jordan Valley from the northern side, pointing out that the occupation established five settlements in Al-Farisiyah and seized 70 percent of Village lands.

The matter in Al-Farisiyah is no different from the village of Mughayir, which is located east of Ramallah, where the occupation seized most of its lands by constructing settlement roads and expanding settlements in preparation for the annexation process.

The head of the village council, Amin Abu Alia, says that the occupation is planning to seize 40,000 dunums of the village’s lands and displace its residents, pointing out that settler gangs have established several outposts on Palestinian lands and are continuously destroying and sabotaging water wells and pipelines and preventing farmers from cultivating their land.
