Actually, Helmut Berger wanted to sell an old Pfaff sewing machine with foot drive. Now it has disappeared without a trace - and the master gardener is angry.
Gröbenzell - First Berger wanted to send the fully functional piece of jewelery from 1924 to Eastern Europe by aid transport. But it was canceled because of Corona.
Berger discovered the sewing machine when he was helping to clear a house. When the aid transport was tipped, he offered it as a decorative item on the courtyard flea market - in vain. At the weekend, the master gardener placed the Pfaff in front of his garage on Birkenstrasse - with a note: for sale.
Many cyclists pass there on their way to Lake Olching. In fact, there was also an interested party. But he just stole the sewing machine. She was gone on Sunday around 3 p.m. “Nobody could have taken them in passing.” Berger is convinced of that. "The machine was heavy and bulky". At least two people and a vehicle are required for transport.
“It's not tragic that she has disappeared,” explains Berger, “but it's a cheek”. Such machines would be traded for up to 200 euros. He would have been satisfied with 50 euros. He didn't call in the police, "they have more important things to do". But he hopes there will be witnesses. You can call (0 81 42) 5 10 06.
