"The seven emergency services could not find any further traces of the Munich woman," as the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) communicated in the Berchtesgadener Land district.
"The voluntary cave rescuers from the Freilassing and Marquartstein mountain rescue teams searched the Teufelshöndl, the Teufelslöcher, the Reischlklammhöhle and the through cave, the Kreissenloch and the Müllerhornhöhle on the summit ridge between Pflasterbachhörndl and Müllnerhörndl," it said.

There are also references to witnesses - none. Bundschuh's disappearance is and will remain a mystery. Because the missing woman was a passionate swimmer, even the surrounding lakes Salachsee and Thumsee were searched repeatedly - again without success.

A police mountain guide finally discovered an entry in the summit book of the north summit of the Rabensteinhorn ( Pflasterbachhorn ) that can be assigned to the missing person.
“An absolute loneliness” - Renate Bundschuh wrote these words on Friday in the summit book of the Pflasterbachhorn, the 1270 meter high peak of a mountain range between Thumsee and Saalachsee west of Bad Reichenhall. There is no time or name in the entry. But her husband identified the scriptures.
The rescue services of the mountain rescue service and the police are looking for her with several teams. The path on the Müllnerhorn , which she should have taken, is in places interspersed with rugged terrain , sometimes steep and exposed.
