Trying to bridge the controversy - and continuing to quarrel: in blue and white they decided to bring up to the Knesset committee again the bill banning conversion therapy, the same proposal that almost led to the dissolution of the government a few weeks ago.
The agenda of the Knesset committee, headed by MK Eitan Ginzburg (blue and white), included a discussion of the two bills on the subject of MKs Merav Michaeli (Labor) and Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz). The Likud responded: "They (blue and white) want an explosion." However, the same bills could still be dropped from the agenda before the sitting, which is due to take place in four days.

Meanwhile, Israel Today has learned that the Likud has not yet responded to the blue-and-white demand to put the discussion on the government's bylaws on the agenda, the same clause that led to the cancellation of the meeting last Sunday and currently it is not certain that a meeting will be held this Sunday.
All this, precisely against the background of an advertisement in "Israel Today" about the efforts being made by the Likud and in blue and white to resolve the budget issue, which, if not resolved, will lead to the automatic dissolution of the Knesset on August 25, ie - another 12 days.

It is estimated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will agree to waive the budget issue in exchange for a blue-and-white waiver regarding control over the appointment of a commissioner.
