A new national survey confirmed information that other studies had been showing: Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and Sergio Berni (along with Alberto Fernández) are two of the leaders with the best image of the moment. But this latest survey also brought a striking coincidence between the head of the Buenos Aires government, a pure macrista; and the Buenos Aires Minister of Security, Kirchnerist idem. They are the politicians who get the most support on the other side of the rift .
The work that shows this particular phenomenon is from Real Time Data (RTD) , a consulting firm created last year that makes daily update measurements. It is led by Nicolás Solari , political scientist and former Poliarquía. They have institutional clients, some of them foreign funds. The last survey, of 960 cases online, was made between July 27 and August 3, with a margin of error of +/- 3.5%.
The survey has five chapters with current issues - images, pandemic impact, economy - and is presented in a 52-page report. To start, as a summary, these conclusions stand out :
- "The approval of Alberto Fernández's management registered a new fall -the fourth in a row- and it went back to the minimum values of his presidency. Despite this, the president today has a support of 50% and a differential of +6 ".
- "The proportion of those who maintain the need to prioritize the functioning of the economy (54%) surpassed for the first time that of those who believe that the government's main priority should be to stop the coronavirus (41%).
"The low profile of Mauricio Macri has favored the fragmentation of leadership in JxC . In this context, Macri, María Eugenia Vidal, Larreta, Elisa Carrió, Martín Lousteau and Patricia Bullrich appear spontaneously, and on a relative footing, as the most important figures. representative of space ".

The Chapter 2 is devoted to images . They measured 14 leaders, including Hugo Moyano. The head of the Truckers did not do well: he was last , with 81% negative evaluation (59% "very bad" and 22% "bad") and only 18% positive (1% "very good" and 17% of good").
The unionist's presence is good news for Macri , who this time, unlike other polls, does not close the table . Nor is it to uncork: figure 13 of 14, with 64% negative (47% "very bad" and 17% "bad") and 34% positive (8% "very good" and 26% good ").
At the other end of the ranking, on the podium , the aforementioned Larreta (+ 67% and - 31%), Fernández (+ 58% and - 41%) and Berni (+ 52% and - 46%) appear.
Then, the survey reveals how these images are composed according to political affinity. And that is where the head of government stands out among the opponents and the Minister of Security, among the ruling party.
Respondents are divided into 8 categories .
- Larreta was given this way: 96% positive among those of "radicalism", 93% "macrismo", 77% "libertarian", 70% "other identification", 62% "without identification", 57% "Peronism" , 40% "left" and 32% "Kirchnerism" .
- To Berni : 75% among those identified with "Kirchnerism", 68% "Peronism", 49% "without identification", 43% "other identification", 39% "macrismo" , 37% "radicalism", 37% " libertarian "and 31%" left. "
According to several analysts, this strength in someone else's field is what the President had achieved and ended up losing in recent months, which explains his fall in the polls.
The emblems of the crack , meanwhile, are still Macri and Cristina . They have 0% approval between respondents K and those of macrismo respectively.
