The technical workshops of the Hama Electricity Company have completed the installation of three electrical transformers in the cities of Halfaya and Taybat al-Imam in the northern countryside of the governorate.

The general manager of the company, Eng. Muhammad Al-Raidi, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that two new electrical transformers with a capacity of 100 KVA were installed, each one to feed the water well in the city of Halfaya, in cooperation with the General Organization for Drinking Water in the governorate with the aim of delivering safe, pure and potable water to The people of the city returning to their city liberated from terrorism, pointing to the technical workshops following up the repair and maintenance work of the medium and low voltage lines in order to deliver electricity to the homes of citizens and the craft establishments that returned to work.

He pointed out that the workshops had installed an electrical transformer to serve the telephone center in the city of Taybat al-Imam, which is being rehabilitated by the branch of the Syrian Company for Communications in Hama and repaired the damage caused to it as a result of the terrorist attacks, indicating that since the beginning of this year until last July, 195 electrical transmission centers were installed, including 165 private transfer centers and 30 general transfer centers, in addition to replacing and enlarging the capacity of 89 electrical transformers of various capacities, in addition to replacing 73 electrical transformers (instead of burned) damaged as a result of increased consumption, as part of a set of measures to meet the increasing demand for electric energy.
