In the video: Extension of detention for the suspects and the suspect in the abuse at a kindergarten in Ramla (Walla! NEWS system)

Police this morning (Thursday) withdrew the appeal she filed requesting to prevent the release to house arrest of Little Bercy, owner of "Tully Garden" in Ramla. This is in accordance with the request of the State Attorney's Office.

Yesterday, the Central District Attorney's Office filed a prosecutor's statement in court against Bercy, her partner and seven other aides. The detention of her suspect spouse and five of the aides was extended for another five days yesterday, while two aides were released on seven-day house arrest under restrictive conditions.

Dozens of parents blocked the Azrieli junction in Tel Aviv last night, in protest of the violence against toddlers in a kindergarten in Ramla. The protesters demanded that the punishment for defendants of child abuse be tightened, after earlier today security camera footage from the kindergarten was published showing the kindergarten assistants in Ramla beating the children.

Security camera footage of the scene shows some serious cases of violence by kindergarten workers against toddlers. In one case, an assistant is seen pulling a child by the hands as he hangs in the air and slaps him. In another case, one of the gardeners is seen punching a child in the face with an object while sitting on a chair, and after the object falls to the floor she repeatedly throws it in his face. In the video you can see one of the kindergarten workers hitting a child lying on a mattress in front of him, and immediately lifting the same mattress so that the child falls to the floor.
