At about midnight, the police received a report stating that a porridge shop under the ground at 22 Mong Kok Road was stolen. The police arrived at the scene to investigate and initially believed that the suspect was a foreign woman. The porridge shop lost about 100,000 yuan. The case was classified as "theft." No one has been arrested yet.

The person in charge of the porridge shop, Mr. Xie, said that since the restaurant cannot eat in at night, the porridge shop only sells takeaways. In the early hours of this morning, the female staff member of the store found that the handbag she had placed under the counter near the entrance was unexplained. After checking the closed-circuit television, she found that at about 10 pm yesterday (12th), a woman of suspected African descent was standing there. Wandering outside the store, soon walked into the store, pretending to look at the menu to buy takeaway. After someone entered the store, when the female clerk went to the kitchen to get the takeaway, she took the opportunity to approach the counter and took the female clerk's handbag, put the menu back to the original place, and then left the door.

The female clerk found out that the handbag was stolen at midnight today and reported the case. Mr. Xie pointed out that the handbag contained more than 100,000 yuan in business this week, as well as some female shop assistants’ own belongings, with a total value of about 130,000 to 140,000 yuan. It is understood that this includes the female shop assistant’s labor this month. This batch of business cash was originally intended to be deposited in the bank, but now it has been stolen.

Police said that a 54-year-old employee surnamed Huang was reported to the police at 0:35 in the morning, stole a bag containing about 130,000 yuan in cash in a shop at 22 Mong Kok Road. Upon receiving the report, the police officers arrived at the scene for preliminary investigation, and the case was listed as "theft" and was handed over to the Mong Kok District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. No one has been arrested yet. The suspect involved is a 35-year-old non-Chinese woman, about 1.65 meters tall, with long black curly hair. She was wearing a green dress, purple headscarf and black mask at the time of the crime.
