Königsdorf - A serious traffic accident occurred on Monday afternoon on the B11. A Renault and an Audi Q5 collided head-on on the route between Königsdorf and Geretsried. Three people were injured, two of them so seriously that they each had to be flown to the accident clinic in Murnau or to the Harlaching hospital by rescue helicopter.
According to the first findings of the police, a woman from Tölzer was on her way north with her Renault at around 2.30 p.m. The woman wanted to turn left in the direction of Beuerberg - and obviously overlooked the two-person Renault that was coming towards her. According to the police, there was a head-on collision between the two cars at the junction with State Road 2070.
B11 completely blocked for a good hour
After the first aid by the rescue service, the alleged cause of the accident was taken to the hospital in Bad Tölz, and the Renault occupants, who both live in Königsdorf, had to be flown to clinics by rescue helicopter due to their serious injuries. The age of those involved in the accident had not been determined at the time of going to press.
The Geretsried police blocked the B11 completely for a good hour, and the Königsdorf fire brigade was also on duty. The property damage to the Audi SUV amounts to around 15,000 euros, the repair of the Renault will cost around 5,000 euros.
