The city of Mendoza, in its traditional intersection of Pedestrian and San Martin Avenue, was the epicenter of the 17A protest, against the handling of the coronavirus crisis, judicial reform and corruption, among other claims that pointed directly to the national government .
With pots, palms and light blue and white flags, the protesters showed their indignation against "the Kirchnerist government, corruption and impunity."
Many chose to protest on board their cars so as not to be penalized for violating social distancing. However, more than a thousand people gathered in the pedestrian street, with little compliance with the protocol.
