After thousands of Argentines mobilized throughout the country against the extension of the mandatory quarantine for the coronavirus and other claims against the Government, the Chief of Staff, Santiago Cafiero , asked health workers for "forgiveness" for "not having managed to avoid "mobilization.
The apology was because these are exposed on a daily basis and, according to the official, the government failed to "prevent the opposition from seeking another way to protest" that would not put the health of the population at risk .

"Among that huge majority there will be men and women from all over the country and from all parties. But there will also be a minority who will not be able to say this when they look at their children ," said Cafiero.
In politics, he extended his request for forgiveness "to the doctors, male and female nurses, and to all the essential personnel who are putting the body in every day."
"For not having managed to prevent the opposition from seeking another way of protesting that does not put people at risk," insisted the Chief of Staff.
