Last month, during the flight of Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi in a helicopter of this type, a malfunction occurred when one of the aircraft's engines suddenly shut down. Crew members tried to turn off the faulty engine, and apparently accidentally turned off the other engine as well. This almost led to the helicopter crashing to the ground. Who dived to a distance of only 30 meters from the ground. Eventually, the crew was able to stabilize the helicopter. The IDF spokesman said after the incident that the helicopter passengers were not in danger at any stage of the incident.
