Monday, 17 August 2020, 20:34The Haifa District Attorney's Office announced today (Monday) that it intends to appeal the partial acquittal of actor Moshe Ivgi. The prosecution will also appeal the sentence handed down to him - six months of community service.
Last January, the Haifa Magistrate's Court convicted Ivgi of two indecent acts on a woman who worked with him during filming for the film in 2012. And the sentence also stipulates that Ivgi is required to pay the young woman compensation in the amount of ten thousand shekels. However, Judge Ziv Arieli acquitted him on the grounds of doubt of two charges of indecent acts and sexual harassment by three other complainants.
