The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced that a Katyusha missile had landed in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport, without causing any casualties.
The Iraqi News Agency quoted the cell as saying in a statement today that a Katyusha missile landed in the vicinity of the international airport, west of the capital, Baghdad, without any losses, noting that the missile was launched from the village of Al-Fayyad, southeast of the airport.
An Iraqi security source announced the day before yesterday that two Katyusha rockets had fallen in the vicinity of the Green Zone where the US embassy in Baghdad is located.
