The Special Tribunal for Lebanon found guilty the main suspect in the attack that claimed the life of former Prime Minister Rafic al Hariri in 2005. Of the four defendants only Salim Jamil Ayyash was convicted, the other three were found "not guilty" as there is no evidence of their participation in said attack, according to the Court. There is also no evidence that the Hezbollah leadership was involved in the crime.
