The Observatory issued Typhoon No. 9 at 1:30 in the morning. The wind in Hong Kong is strong and is expected to remain for a while in the early morning. "Hong Kong 01" followed up the traffic situation in various districts.

[05:10] MTR said that as Typhoon Signal No. 9 is hoisted, the service will be adjusted when it starts service this morning. The services of all open-air sections of MTR trains, as well as light rail and MTR buses are suspended. As for the underground sections, limited service will be maintained until further notice.
The open-air sections include all the East Rail Line, Airport Express Line, Disney Line, and Tsuen Wan Line from Tsuen Wan Station to Lai King Station, Kwun Tong Line from Choi Hung Station to Tiu Keng Leng Station, and Hong Kong Island Line from Heng Fa Village Station to Chai Wan Station , Tung Chung Line from Kowloon Station to Tung Chung Station, South Island Line from Admiralty Station to Lee Tung Station, West Rail Line from Tsuen Wan West Station to Tuen Mun Station, and Tuen Ma Line Phase I from Diamond Hill Station to Wu Kai Sha Station.

Except for the limited service provided by the 01 engineering vehicle of the Lai Chi Kok plant, all other early-shift staff shuttle buses of KMB will be temporarily suspended. The vehicle management team will release the details of the typhoon staff shuttle buses of each factory through the staff network at a later time.
