The Moroccan Ministry of Health announced the registration of 33 new deaths from the new Corona virus, the highest daily toll since the beginning of the outbreak of the pandemic in the country, bringing the total deaths so far to 714 cases.
The coordinator of the National Center for Public Health Emergency Operations at the Moroccan Ministry of Health Muad Lamrabet said in a press statement today that 1245 new confirmed cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total to 44 thousand and 803, while 1061 cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number to 31 thousand and two cases A recovery rate of 69 percent.
For his part, Moroccan Health Minister Khaled Ait Al-Taleb expressed concern about the development of the disease situation caused by the Coronavirus in the country, stressing that the epidemiological situation has not stabilized in Morocco after the quarantine restrictions were eased in a number of regions of the country.
In addition, the Moroccan authorities closed additional neighborhoods in an attempt to limit the spread of the Corona epidemic, as it was decided to close the beaches of the cities of Temara and Skhirat near the capital, Rabat, starting tomorrow, Wednesday.
