The Arab Cultural Center in Tartous held a poetic meeting in which three of the governorate's writers participated, amid the implementation of measures to address the Corona virus in terms of spatial separation and sterilization of the place.
The writer Bassam Hammouda started the cultural activity with two poems, one of which was titled “Hymns to the face of the migratory water,” in addition to three short sentimental humanitarian compositions bearing the titles “Companions”, “Rejection” and “Letters from Fire” and he believed that the literary activity in this period, although it is difficult, One of the "images of the real struggle for self-affirmation and literary cultural existence."
The writer Ali Dibah presented poetic, sentimental and patriotic passages such as “How do you not forgive me”, “I did not give birth to me,” “I will not go along with the convoys of hypocrisy,” and “Wake up, boy,” indicating that he does not find himself a poet, but he loves from time to time to write some poetry pieces Diverse humanitarian and social topics and participation in any literary activity "in order to remain close to people to address their reality in his literature in all its details and contradictions."
The writer Muhy al-Din Muhammad, head of the Arab Writers Union branch in Tartous, concluded the poetic meeting with two poems of the style of the traditional two-verse poem, the first entitled “A Cold Summer Twilight” and the second entitled “A Mysterious Mirage,” in which he dealt with the war on Syria and Arab and foreign regimes conspiring against it, stressing that one of the writer's first priorities is General deals with community issues so that its outcome is a true reflection of this reality.
