An astronomical study reached a conclusion that the number of inhabited worlds outside the solar system may reach thousands of planets, after processing the specifications of the planets discovered outside our solar system.
The scientists overseeing the research published the results of their calculations in the Journal of Proceeding or The National Academy of Science, saying, “One of the pressing tasks before astronomy is to discover traces of life on the surface of distant planets. Inhabited worlds live in the Milky Way ”.
In their calculations, the scientists took into account information about other planets, advances in astronomy, the creation of new telescopes, and the extent of their impact on the progress of humanity in the coming decades.
Scientists' calculations indicated that the absence of planets suitable for the emergence of life near the Earth, i.e. at a distance of 100 light-years, would not practically affect the probability of its discovery in other areas of the Milky Way without taking into account the possibility of transferring life from one planet to another thanks to asteroids or other space objects such as an asteroid. Borisov ”who came to us from other regions of the Milky Way.
And if one takes into account these possibilities, the number of inhabited worlds may increase greatly.
