There are already five agents who participated in the police operation in which Valentino Blas Correas was murdered (17) who were charged by the Cordovan justice. Now, a key expertise determined who killed him and that report directly marked Lucas Gómez's weapon (35).

Gómez and Javier Alarcón (31) shot at the Fiat Argo in which five teenagers were traveling at dawn on Thursday, August 6. One of those bullets was the one that killed Correas in the back.

That expertise compared the bullet they extracted from Blas's body with the weapons that kidnapped the detained agents. According to reports, the images from the security cameras showed Gómez firing at the vehicle in a straight line and Alarcón in the direction of the wheels.

That version is the one held by Hugo Luna, Alarcón's lawyer. "They go to Vélez Sársfield avenue with another patrol car and place them in a transversal way. In those circumstances they see the approaching vehicle. It slows down and, when it is arriving at the place, it makes a maneuver and dodges them. He tells me that both he and the officer Gómez must jump to avoid being run over. Under these circumstances, he hears shots and immediately points to the covers of the vehicle and fires two or three shots, "he told Cadena 3.

Alarcón, in addition, would have been the one who took a weapon from the trunk of the patrol car and handed it to officer Wanda Micaela Esquivel (32) , who later threw it in a black bag from the mobile window. For this reason, she was detained and charged with "aggravated cover-up and breach of official duties." The same accusation belongs to the assistant officer Yamila Florencia Martínez and Sergio Alejandro González (42), although they are at liberty.

As confirmed by sources consulted by Clarín , they are now analyzing the participation of the police officers of the motorcycle division who were also part of the operation and analyzing what participation they had in the event and in its subsequent cover-up.

Last week it was announced that Gomez has a pending trial in a cover-up case. They accused him of participating in a police network that sought to protect the serial rapist of La Calera, Leandro Raúl Castañares, convicted in 2018 for acknowledging six sexual abuse.

That trial was not carried out, but Gómez was indicated as part of the police cover-up, but the conduct court allowed him to continue in office and carrying a weapon.

Now it is Alarcón in which he appears involved in a 2013 case in which he was accused of "illegitimate deprivation of liberty" and "minor injuries" that did not advance.

"In the event that this is the case, the accusation would date from April 2013. If there was a complaint that required the imputation, the evidence against it did not merit procedural treatment because 7 years have already elapsed. If there had been evidentiary merits, it would have originated a summary administrative and the Court of Police Conduct is extremely strict and would have dismissed him, "Luna excused him.

Another point that is analyzed by justice and demanded by the Blas Correas family, points to two employees of the Aconcagua Clinic, where the victim's friends transferred him when he was injured. They are being investigated for failure to assist and could be charged with that crime.
