The IDF thwarted an attempted attack on the area of the Ephraim Territorial Brigade in Samaria last night (Thursday). The fighters identified a squad of terrorists near the village of Deir Abu Mash'al with materials to set fire to Molotov cocktails and tires, and fired at them.
An IDF spokesman said that "IDF fighters thwarted an attempted attack, when during an operation near the village of Deir Abu Mash'al, the fighters identified a squad of terrorists carrying materials used to ignite Molotov cocktails and put tires in order to set them on fire and hit civilian vehicles moving on a nearby road."
The Judea and Samaria border without rescue reported that two of the terrorists escaped, with one of them seriously injured, while another terrorist was fatally wounded and pronounced dead. As stated, this is a place where such incidents have occurred in the past.

A statement issued by Rescue Without Borders in Judea and Samaria stated that "around 11:20 PM, a force identified three terrorists rolling down submarines at Road 465 near Deir Abu Mashaal in order to hit vehicles. A suspicious arrest procedure was carried out for them that included shooting. Two escaped, apparently when one of them escaped. "Injured, and another terrorist fatally wounded, was treated by a military brigade commander who determined his death."
