In this new video-investigation published by the association, with very harsh images, we see the extreme dilapidation of this place where hundreds of ducks are crowded.

Broken cages, floor covered with a " 15 centimeter layer of excrement ", windowless building, dilapidated walls, dead animals, presence of rats, maggots and " other insects in large numbers ": " in 15 years field surveys, I had never seen such a situation! ” worries Sébastien Arsac, spokesperson and founder of L214. “ It's disgusting and revolting, ” adds Brigitte Gothière, also spokesperson and founder of the association. Besides the animal aspect, L214 also deplores the environmental risks surrounding this breeding. In fact, “ the streams of excrement that flow out of the farm ” end “ near the Season, a Natura 2000 classified stream”, a category listing natural or semi-natural sites with great heritage value. Finally, the association calls out " on the health risks represented by breeding where corpses and droppings are not managed ".
In 12 years of work and investigation, L214, which has 40,000 members, has already released around a hundred videos of this kind. For some of them, the places in question have closed, either temporarily or permanently.
