The Democratic Party has officially stood behind the 77-year-old former vice president as its presidential candidate. The third day of the conference, which is scheduled to begin early Thursday (Thursday), included a series of speakers led by Barack Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former candidate and senator Hillary Clinton, and of course Camela Harris, who is slated to be vice president.

Her speech was expected to excite the bass, but mostly to excite the swingers. Whatever Biden fails to do, Harris is supposed to make up for by passion. Harris' uniqueness is not only her special ethnic origins as a daughter of immigrants from Jamaica and India, but mainly because as a former prosecutor, she is due to file a serious indictment against Trump and pave the way for Biden, ahead of his important speech on the last day of the conference. If Harris' speech is received with a big yawn, Biden will not be able to save the conference from failure either.

After decades in American politics and the Democratic Party in particular, former Vice President Joe Biden yesterday reached a position where he could overlook the White House: Most deputies to the National Democratic Conference declared him preferred to represent the party in the upcoming presidential election.

Now, after the votes have been counted and officially presented to the conference secretariat, they will be presented to Biden and he - unsurprisingly - will agree to take on that burden on Thursday, when he will deliver the "nomination speech".

The state of Delaware, the state of Biden, surprised everyone when it came to the turn and refused to decide who it supported, just so they could return to it at the end of the vote. Thus she promised that she would be the last to vote for him, thus, symbolically, making her dear son a candidate.

At one point the zoom screen split into dozens of sub-screens, to show that the whole of America is celebrating the appointment, to give the feeling that this is a real conference, even though the feeling was that it was a class party to mark the end of the school year.

The second day of the conference was less crowded than the first day - at least in the number of protesters. This time those who set the tone were less the anti-capitalist demonstrators, but the demonstrators for the environment and the war on climate change.

The line of speakers on the second day of the conference was characterized by those who know how to lead, at least according to the senior party method. Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Adi Barkan - an Israeli-American who suffers from muscular dystrophy, who became a famous activist after fighting prominently against cuts in federal funding for medical devices. In his speech, Bill Clinton said: “We are the only country in the developed world where the level of unemployment has tripled during the Corona era.

"Joe Biden wants to build an economy that is much more suitable for young people, and families, and working people who want to raise children at the same time," Clinton added. The surprise of the evening, though not dramatic, was the speech of Colin Powell, Secretary of State in the Bush Jr. administration, who delivered a strong speech against Trump.

Jill Biden told about Biden's resume, through her prism. For their love that ignited precisely in the most difficult moments, when he still mourned the death of his wife and daughter in a car accident. "I became a mother that happened in a way I never expected. I fell in love with a man and two small children who faced the inconceivable loss, the loss of a wife and mother, a sister and a daughter," she said sadly. Jill took advantage of the emotion to make it clear that Trump must not be allowed to evade responsibility for his failure to eradicate the plague. "I'm heartbroken at the extent of the loss, at the failure to protect our communities. Like many of you, I also ask myself how do I protect my family?"

Meanwhile, no one is surprised anymore that Trump continues to steal the spotlight, especially given the fact that Democrats do not appear live and he does. Unlike previous presidents who lower their profile during the conference of their rivals, he comes out with all his might against Biden-Harris. He held his own rally in Arizona, in which he attacked the duo for allowing immigration to the U.S. to break records. "Biden's program and his deputy are a program in the stages of erasing America's borders," he warned.

Now the question is whether Biden and Harris will start talking, or do they think voters can be programmed with some exciting clips. Trump has already realized that he needs the human element, so he does not give up and pushes himself everywhere. Now it's the turn of the Democrats to fight for every vote, otherwise they'll find it too late in November. There is only one chance to make a first impression.
