On the first 150 swabs processed among tourists and quarantined staff in a resort in Santo Stefano, there are 10 cases of positivity to Covid-19. This was revealed by the mayor of La Maddalena, Luca Montella, after the results of the first tests, arrived this morning, out of a total of 470 carried out yesterday following the infection of a seasonal worker of the hotel, currently hospitalized in the Sassari hospital.
During the day, at the latest tomorrow, the results of the other exams will be known. Molecular controls allowed to speed up the screening operations, processing the swabs in large blocks. "The Crisis Unit, which is managing the situation, has told us that the overall data could be available around 2 pm", announces Montella.
