Exhalation test: Companies from the Emirates and Israel will develop a device for diagnosing corona

G42 from Abu Dhabi has signed a cooperation agreement with the Israeli company Nanosent to develop a test that diagnoses the presence of corona virus in exhalation. G42 from Abu Dhabi has signed a cooperation agreement with the Israeli company Nanosent to develop a test that diagnoses the presence of corona virus in the exhalation, WAM, the United Arab Emirates' news agency, reported today (Wednesday).

According to the WAM news agency, the device under development, called ScentCheck, will deliver results in 30 to 60 seconds, and that G42, a company that specializes in artificial intelligence and cloud computing, will pass thousands of tests in the coming weeks.

This project follows the signing of the normalization agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, which will include a variety of cooperation in the fields of security, direct flights, investment, culture, health, tourism, communications, technology, energy and the environment.

The agreement includes joint research on a device that will allow rapid tests to be carried out on the corona.
