The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced the registration of 589 new cases of coronavirus within 24 hours, the highest toll since the start of the epidemic.
The ministry stated that 581 cases of infection were recorded among residents during the past 24 hours, and 8 cases among expatriates, pointing out that two new deaths were recorded, while the number of critical cases reached 68.
The ministry indicated that it had conducted 7207 laboratory tests to detect infection with Corona during the past 24 hours, including 1284 examinations at the airport.
After today's outcome, the total number of injuries increased since the 21st of last February to 10,347, while the total number of deaths reached 109.
