The inflow of incendiary balloons continues: 42 fires broke out today (Thursday) in the Gaza Strip following the launch of incendiary balloons and the shattering of the Gaza Strip towards Israel. Despite IDF attacks in the Gaza Strip every night, Hamas does not shy away from continuing to terrorize balloons.
Speaking of Fire and Rescue for Israel, Southern District, it was reported that fire crews together with the KKL-JNF and RTG teams, assisted by IDF drones, Rabshakeh and volunteers, worked today to put out the fires in the fields of thorns. Most of the fires broke out mainly in the area of the Sha'ar Hanegev and Eshkol Regional Council.

Against the background of growing security tensions on the southern border, the secretary general of the Moshavim movement, Adv. Amit Yifrach, today addressed the Minister of Defense and the Deputy Prime Minister, Bnei Gantz, regarding the terrorist balloon attack on agriculture in the Gaza Strip. In a letter sent by Yifrach, he stated: "Recently, the terror of balloons has hit the residents of the Gaza Strip again. More than 200 fires caused by incendiary balloons, severely damage the routine life of the residents and a real risk to human life and property."

Earlier today, Qatar expressed readiness to resume the transfer of financial grants to the Gaza Strip for another six months and to carry out other projects previously agreed upon, as part of the mediation talks between Israel and the terrorist organization.
