Mali's air and land borders, closed since the coup on Tuesday, will reopen on Friday, the soldiers who run the country announced Thursday evening in a brief statement read on national television ORTM.

" The National Committee for the Salvation of the People (CNSP) is informing national and international opinion of the reopening of air and land borders from this Friday, August 21 at 00:00, " said this press release, read by the presenter of the newspaper of the 'ORTM. " The committee reassures the populations that all security measures have been taken to ensure the good circulation of people and their property, " he added, without further clarification.
