Cases of coronavirus continue in Liga MX and now it was in the U-20 and U-17 category, with Mazatlán as the affected team. According to a statement from Liga MX, the Sinaloan team reports 38 positive cases to COVID-19 among its representatives with age limit.
“In compliance with the Protocols established by the MX League and the health authorities, the Club carried out COVID-19 tests on August 17 to players and coaching staff of the U-20 and U-17 teams. The results indicated , in the U-20 team, 18 players and two members of the coaching staff with positive cases. In the U-17 team, 16 positive cases were detected in players and two in the coaching staff ”, the statement details.

Due to the number of positives, it was decided to postpone until October 8 the games of these categories against Pachuca , corresponding to matchday 6. In the U-20, the Sinaloans are in sixth place in the classification, while in the U-17 they appear in the fifteenth position.
