United States began tonight (Thursday) formal procedure returning international sanctions on Iran, as part of the mechanism "Snapback" - This was announced tonight at the United Nations. The Americans justified the opening of the procedure to restore sanctions that Iran had violated the nuclear deal.
Secretary of State of the United States, Mike Pompeo, met earlier in the evening in New York with the ambassador of Indonesia to the United Nations used the rotating presidency of the UN security Council and handed him a letter containing a formal request to activate the mechanism automatically re-projection of international sanctions on Iran.
According to senior Israeli officials, administration US President Donald Trump last night informed Israel of his intention to submit to the UN Security Council today the request for the automatic return of sanctions, which were lifted as part of the nuclear deal.
