A 16-year-old girl died Thursday in a house fire in Nantes and the criminal track is privileged, we learned from the firefighters of Loire-Atlantique and sources close to the file.

The firefighters intervened shortly before 6 p.m. to extinguish a fire which broke out in the attic of a house with one floor, in the city center of Nantes.
On their arrival at the scene, the firefighters said in a statement to have extracted " a person who was in cardio-respiratory arrest ". “ After an attempt at resuscitation by the emergency services, the victim, a 16-year-old girl, was declared dead by the SMUR doctor ,” the statement added.
An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the tragedy. From a source close to the file, the criminal track is privileged and the criminal brigade of the antenna of the judicial police of Nantes was seized.
