P1 and the beetle belonged together like the proverbial ass on the bucket until spring. Not only at the Einser headquarters in the Haus der Kunst, but also in Käfer's Wiesn Schänke at the Oktoberfest, where the P1 served a bar in the restaurant's garden. After the tent closed, a shuttle service carted the select clientele, who feasted there, to the Haus der Kunst, where the party really took off. Lived very exclusively, in the truest sense of the word. Now this exclusivity is perdu.
After the sale of Käfer's shares to the family of P1 partner Franz Rauch in March, the P1 is still represented in the Käfer-Schänke, but no longer as the sole scene hotspot. The Heart at Lenbachplatz, a competitor of the P1 in the battle for Munich party-goers cream, can boast a bar in the Käfer tent this year. "We have been on friendly terms with Michael Käfer for a long time," says Heart boss Ayhan Durak, who with his colleagues Nikias Hofmann and Daniel Laurent has meanwhile expanded the restaurant-bar-club mix into an exclusive Heart House over several floors with a member area , "It has now offered itself and resulted".

At two counters behind the tent they want to become "a permanent institution at the Oktoberfest with the usual quality, warmth and heart service". A “Heart Signature Drink” will also be served as recognition, which is available both in the Heart House and at the Oktoberfest. No problem for the P1 competition. "I was not surprised by it, nor do I have a problem with it," says Rauch, "I see the matter positively because: More than full is not possible anyway, Michi and I are still good friends."
At the Oktoberfest is before the After-Wiesn. After the tent closes, both locations are considered top starting points for party-goers. 18 nights non-stop.
