According to the police, a 32-year-old Tölzer entered a supermarket in Tölzer Marktstrasse around 3:30 p.m. without mouth and nose protection. The cashier therefore pointed out that he had to put on a mask. The customer did not see this, however, after all, according to the man, the saleswoman behind the plastic pane wasn't wearing one either. The cashier tried to explain this to the man, but the 32-year-old freaked out and hit her with a shopping basket over the head. The employee - a 54-year-old woman from Wackersberg - was slightly injured and was treated at the Tölzer hospital.
Assault on the cashier: charges of dangerous bodily harm
The rabid customer was charged with dangerous bodily harm and violation of the Infection Protection Act. Other customers who witnessed the incident are asked to contact the Bad Tölz police station on 0 80 41/76 10 60.
