Bad Tölz - The dispute about a non-existent mouth and nose protection escalated on Friday afternoon in a Tölz shopping market. An employee was injured.

Rabid customer in Tölzer supermarket completely freaked out because of the mask requirement

According to the police, a 32-year-old Tölzer entered a supermarket in Tölzer Marktstrasse around 3:30 p.m. without mouth and nose protection. The cashier therefore pointed out that he had to put on a mask. The customer did not see this, however, after all, according to the man, the saleswoman behind the plastic pane wasn't wearing one either. The cashier tried to explain this to the man, but the 32-year-old freaked out and hit her with a shopping basket over the head. The employee - a 54-year-old woman from Wackersberg - was slightly injured and was treated at the Tölzer hospital.

The rabid customer was charged with dangerous bodily harm and violation of the Infection Protection Act. Other customers who witnessed the incident are asked to contact the Bad Tölz police station on 0 80 41/76 10 60.
