Ivgi appeals his conviction and sentence: "There is new evidence"
The actor appealed to the Haifa District Court against the decision to convict him of two indecent acts on a woman who worked with him. His lawyer asked to summon some of the witnesses, following "developments" that he claimed took place after the sentencing

Actor Moshe Ivgi filed an appeal this morning (Sunday) in the Haifa District Court against his conviction and the sentence imposed on him. His defense attorney, Adv. Michael Carmel, asked to submit "new evidence" and it is possible that some of the witnesses, including Complainant A., may be re-summoned, "in accordance with developments that took place after the sentencing."
The Haifa Magistrate's Court convicted Ivgi last January She also worked with him during filming for the film in 2012. And the sentence also stipulates that Ivgi is required to pay the young woman compensation in the amount of ten thousand shekels, however, Judge Ziv Arieli acquitted him on the grounds of two charges of indecent acts and sexual harassment by three other complainants.
